Lean not on your own understanding but trust in Him

When you least expect it G-d will use you to bless those around you and they may be someone you don't even know. This week in New York City so much is going on especially with  the UN in session. Today I planned on job hunting but G-d had other plans. I was down near the UN and the police were out in full force and Iranians were protesting outside the hotel where the Iranian President was staying when I stop ed to ask a police officer how to get back to the subway when this officer started a conversation with me. He asked me what I was doing in Manhattan and I told him that I was working with Chosen People Ministries and that I had taken the San Diego police exams and from there I was able to share with him what G-d had put on my heart to do here in NYC. For about 35 min. I shared lightly with him and then the conversation ended.   A few min. later I was standing next to two officers across the street when Officer Paterson asked me what I was taking pictures of, and I told him I was working on my photo portfolio and in the city for an internship. From that point he asked me what I was doing for my internship and that I was sharing the gospel and here to work with Russian Jewish people through a ministry called Chosen People. I did not share the gospel completely with him which I am disappointed in myself for but I did share with him. He then told me that his partner and himself could not leave their post and asked if I could get them something to pick them up. I said absolutely, he wanted to give me money and I said no and went and got them some food. When I brought them food they were amazed and very thankful. They were so grateful.
Today instead of job hunting  I shared with two police officers  which is big for me because I am very shy when sharing so though I did not share out front G-d gave me the courage to at least open the conversation to sharing the work G-d is using me to do. Please be praying that He will give me more courage next time to be more courageous and share more in depth the gospel with the next person G-d puts in my path.
Before I forget please check out the Chosen Peoples website for I have my testimony put on their website as a main article. Take a look and hope it encourages you in some way. Now that Sukkot has arrived this evening I want to wish you a lovely Sukkot and Shana Tova.

Blessing in Yeshua,
REBEKAH D

We are praying for you to meet some Jewish people to share with. Please pray for my sister Rachel who lives in Brooklyn. She just lost her job and is depressed. We are also praying for your financial situation.

Shalom,
Tony and Joan
