NYC update!

Now that the holidays have passed for the most part  my internship is starting to get busy which is wonderful. Ryan is prepping Chris and I to do street evangelism in the heart of Brooklyn s Jewish and Russian area which is exciting.  We are also contacting many of the Rabbi's here in NYC to let them know that we are sponsoring a hugh event connected to the Isaiah scrolls ( Isaiah 53) which will be coming to a CPM site which is very big because the man who is presenting  is not a believer and yet is willing and excited about sharing this scroll and discussion with CPM and NYC. This event is big and will be a huge witnessing tool.
Yesterday was big because a lady came into CPM asking for an english speaker who wants to work with Russian drug-addicts  in Brooklyn, and so I let Ryan know that I would love to do that. This coming week we will be meeting with here again and she will be making it more clear as to what kind of help she is needing. Also we spent the day pulling together tracks and books in Hebrew, Russian and English for this coming week (starting Monday).  Also as an intern of CPM I am involved with a young Jewish/Christian Bible study group called MetroMoses  ( www.metromoses.com) where I will be leading bible studies and posting reviews of the bible studies so check it out if you get a second.
Many of you have been praying that I would find a job and I thank you because it is paying off and I am so thankful. Today I had a job interview with a deli  which is what I would like to do and the interview went very well but I am having to wait a few days to find out if I got a position or not, but the interviewer said that he liked my presentation and so is confident that I will get a weekend job with Pax's Deli a Manhatten located business one block from the CPM office.   Also before I forget God has been bringing me into conversations with Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox woman on the train which is exciting but at the same time I am still shy and only lightly sharing with them. I need to be a little more bold. I am also excited because I have been introduced to the secular/orthodox young israeli community here in and around Kings Hwy (where I am living)  because a dear friend of mine (Chaya) has introduced me to them and so I now have a door to sharing Yeshua with them. Please pray that I wont shy away from the opportunity to share Yeshua with them and if and when I do that I would be wise with my words.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support, its helping me stay strong and confident and connected to Yeshua  and it's paying off which is wonderful!!!  I ask that you be praying for my friend Chaya G. she is an Israeli Jew and looking into becoming Orthodox and she knows that I am a believer and I have been slowly sharing with her over the last five years and she recently was asking me questions so please be praying that she will ask more questions about Yeshua and that I will be bold with her in sharing and not afraid of ridicule from her. Also if you could be praying for my mentor and friend Lora back in PA, she has stage 5 kidney and colon cancer and has 5 children  (one getting married this summer) and is a very strong Christian and touches many lives around her but she is very sick and is desperately seeking healing and guidance from the medical community. She just had a kidney transplant but yesterday evening her body rejected the Kidney and the cancer is growing quickly. She is only in her late 40's and is in allot of pain so if you could be praying that God , the great and mighty healer and doctor would give wisdom to the dr's in helping her and would lay his healing hand upon her and heal her.  Thanks everyone.......sorry if this update is a little all over the place but I have to run and this is just a quick update. I will update Monday. Blessings and Shalom to everyone.
