Rebekah's Internship in NYC updates.: Working on and seeing possibilities...

Shalom, Priveyt, and Hello

I do not have too much to update you wonderful people with but I do have some..... My internship requires that I write articles on certain holidays or themes and they are published on MetroMoses.com and the CPM homepage and so I recently wrote an article discussing the Presence of God and Sukkot, so if you would like to read it you can see it at http://www.metromoses.com/ . This last weekend CPM put on a huge event called Isaiah 53 where speakers came and the owner of the Isaiah 53 scrolls came and spoke on the scrolls. The event was very successful and we sold tickets for the event. The majority of the crowd was not Jewish probably because the venue was at a Baptist church ( interestingly they had on their ceiling a huge eye and pyramid like the Masons have). Today Chris, myself, Ryan and Allison(from another Jewish ministry) were supposed to go out to Kings Hwy and give out books and tracks to the Russian Jewish community but due to heavy, non-stop (oy) rain we were unable to do that. We are hoping that we will have a chance to do this at some point during this week if it stop's raining. Instead of going out we met at CPM other building in Brooklyn (Russian center) and prayed. Allyison shared how her group is sharing with the Chesids and Ultra- Orthodox and that there is fruit showing. She told us to pray for three individual Chesids( Ultra Ultra orthodox) named Hermon, Fred, and shoot forgot the other...anyways they are secret believers and are afraid of coming out because they are a part of the Chesid community. But they have been secretly coming in through a back door at Allyisons ministry building asking questions and learning more about Yeshua. This is huge so please be praying for these men that they will continue to stay strong and find the power to come out of hiding. I would also like to update you on my job search. My job hunting is not going well and I am not the only one who is having severe difficulties finding a job. My finances are growing thin and I would dearly like to find a job before my third and last month here in NYC so that I can pay for my last months rent and supplies. God is good and I know He provides so I am keeping my eyes on Him and trusting in His provision. Blessings in Yeshua. Hope everyone is having a lovely week .

This is the group of us wishing we could go out and share. The pamphlet above is what we use to share with the Ultra Ultra Orthodox and Chesids ( it looks like Rashi Commentary and reads like Rashi Commentary, but they dont realize they have just read Yeshua's teachings until they come to the end , then they call in and ask questions. They are surprised usually that Yeshua taught as a Rabbi. This brochure is a great witnessing tool to them.
